As Vizitech's Chief Scientist, Dr. Carroll Lastinger leads a team of technologists in the creation of innovative 3D lessons and training programs. Before joining Vizitech in 2011, his roles included Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist at N4D, Chief Scientist at 3DH, and Director of Information Technology at NetBOA.He received two undergraduate degrees in aeronautics/flight engineering and jet propulsion/aircraft power plant technology from the College of the Air Force. He received his Doctor of Science degree from Emmanuel University. Dr. Lastinger served as an airline pilot for American International Airways and an instructor flight engineer for the U.S. Air Force.

He is an active member of InfraGard, an official civilian detachment of the FBI defending the technology infrastructure of the U.S. Dr. Lastinger holds the patent for 3D-HoloProjection, which provides a virtual, interactive, and immersive learning and training experience.

Dr. Lastinger has received numerous awards for his achievements and has worked with the film industry as a 3-D consultant. He is a member of the Society for Motion Picture and Television Engineers and the International Mind Brain Educational Society.
